A: All our seating products have clearly listed weight capacities (tested to meet CPSC standards) on their product pages—general guidelines:

  • Sofas: Small/2-seater (500 lbs), 3-seater (750 lbs), sectional/large (1000 lbs) – weight capacity is evenly distributed across the frame.
  • Armchairs: Standard fabric/wood (250 lbs), heavy-duty/leather (300 lbs) – single-person use capacity.
  • Footstools: Standard (200 lbs), ottoman-style (250 lbs) – for seating/foot rest only (not for heavy storage).

    We recommend not exceeding these limits to maintain frame stability and avoid damage.

Q2: Can I get fabric swatches before ordering a sofa/armchair?


A: Yes! We offer free fabric swatches for all our upholstered seating (sofas, armchairs, fabric footstools) to help you match your living room decor and check texture/color in natural light. You can request up to 5 swatches per order via our website’s fabric swatch portal or by contacting customer service—swatches are shipped via USPS First Class and arrive in 3–5 business days (contiguous U.S.).

Q3: Is white-glove delivery available for all furniture, and what does it include?


A: White-glove delivery is our premium service available for all assembled sofas/armchairs and large footstools (ottoman-style) to all 50 U.S. states (additional fee for AK/HI/territories). It includes:

  1. Curbside pickup from our warehouse by our authorized furniture carrier.
  2. Inside-home delivery to your room of choice (living room, bedroom, etc.).
  3. Full assembly (if the furniture is flat-pack – e.g., armchair legs, sofa cushion attachment).
  4. Removal and proper disposal of all packaging materials (plastic, foam, boxes).
  5. A quick inspection with you to confirm the furniture is undamaged and assembled correctly.

    Our delivery team will not move your existing furniture or modify your home (e.g., removing door frames) for delivery—please check product dimensions for pre-delivery access.

Q4: How do I care for my upholstered sofa/armchair and wooden/metal furniture parts?


A: Care instructions vary by material—our core guidelines:

  • Upholstery (Fabric/Leather): Fabric – spot clean with a mild upholstery cleaner (avoid bleach/harsh chemicals); vacuum regularly to remove dust/pet hair. Leather – wipe with a damp cloth and use a leather conditioner every 6 months to prevent cracking; avoid direct sunlight (fading).
  • Wooden Frames/Legs: Dust with a dry cloth; wipe with a wood polish every 3 months; avoid direct sunlight/moisture (warping/cracking).
  • Metal Legs/Bases: Wipe with a damp cloth; dry immediately to prevent rust; avoid harsh metal cleaners (scratches).
  • Cushions: Fluff sofa/armchair cushions daily to prevent flattening; rotate cushion inserts every 3 months for even wear; spot clean stains immediately.

Q6: What if my sofa/armchair is too big for my doorway/stairwell?


A: We provide exact product dimensions (width/height/depth) for all furniture on our product pages, including unassembled/flat-pack dimensions (narrower for doorways/stairwells). We recommend measuring your doorways, stairwells, and hallways before ordering to ensure a proper fit. If the furniture is delivered and does not fit (no measurement error on our part), it is considered a personal reason return—you are responsible for freight pickup costs and a 20% restocking fee. Our customer service team can also help you select flat-pack furniture (narrower dimensions) for small spaces/doorways.

Q7: Are your sofas/armchairs pet-friendly?


A: Yes! We offer a pet-friendly upholstery line for all sofas and armchairs, designed to resist pet hair, scratches, and stains. Pet-friendly fabrics include microfiber, performance linen, and faux leather—all easy to clean, scratch-resistant, and non-shedding. We also recommend our slipcover-compatible seating for added protection (slipcovers sold separately).
